Descending purple

My colours of Summer

The golden shower tree has captured my heart of late .
Summer is here.
The Laburnum, the Gulmohar and purple Jacaranda are in full bloom.

I keep going back to "Shantaram" to recollect many meaningful quotes.

floating aimlessly
in the water
and then caught
by swaying currents
and getting stuck on a
drooping branch
and twirling in circles
caused by the pothole
thus going round ...
and round...
in circles
as I say it again
in circles...
makes my head spin
go round and round

when you cant fight back
and the current is strong
so strong...

when you end up
again and again
